Ty Segall is a one-man garage rock machine…literally. Lashing out garage tunes while pounding a bass drum isn’t as easy as it sounds, especially when you howl as loudly as this young man does. Luckily for us he’s assembled a band around him for his recent tours so those of you who were wowed by one of his former bands, Sic Alps, last year at West Germany are in for a treat.
San Francisco based Segall has a discography just too long to mention including four solo albums…you really should get your hands on Melted (2010, Goner), it’s a good place to start.
